Golden, buttery rolls stuffed with savory ham and melty cheese, topped with a tangy glaze—these irresistible ham and cheese sliders are guaranteed to steal the show at your next party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of deli ham
  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally as a whole piece (don’t separate them). Place the bottom halves into the baking dish.
  3. Lay slices of ham evenly across the rolls, followed by the cheese slices.
  4. Place the top halves of the rolls back over the filling.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
  6. Use a pastry brush to generously coat the tops of the sliders with the glaze.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool slightly, then cut into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

[‘Don’t separate the rolls while assembling to ensure even layering and easier handling.’, ‘Use room-temperature ingredients for better melting and flavor melding.’, ‘Brush the glaze generously for maximum flavor and golden tops.’, ‘Cover the sliders for the first 15 minutes of baking to prevent drying out.’, ‘Cool slightly before cutting to keep each slider intact.’]
