  • Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • Fresh, ripe tomato slices
  • Romaine lettuce leaves
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Butter (optional, for spreading on bread before toasting)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Slice tomato into thin rounds and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook bacon until crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
  3. Toast 3 slices of bread per sandwich until golden and crisp. Optional: Spread a thin layer of butter before toasting for extra flavor.
