A creamy, flavorful pasta dish combining the best of burgers and pasta with crispy bacon, savory ground beef, and melted cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual dinner gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley or diced pickles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Once cool, crumble into small pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, cream cheese, ketchup, and mustard until smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef mixture. Pour the sauce over the top and stir to combine.
  7. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Cook over low heat until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  8. Garnish with parsley or diced pickles if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother sauce, whisk the milk and cream cheese thoroughly. Add a splash of milk if the sauce feels too thick. Customize with extra cheese or garnishes like diced pickles for a classic burger vibe.
