A vibrant and refreshing green juice packed with fresh spinach, cucumber, green apple, celery, lemon, and ginger. This easy homemade cleanse drink boosts energy and supports detoxification.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, packed
  • 1 medium English cucumber, peeled if not organic
  • 1 large green apple, cored
  • 2 medium celery stalks
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1-inch piece ginger root, peeled
  • 1 cup filtered water (or as needed)
  • A small handful fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly, soaking spinach and parsley in cold water, then dry.
  2. Chop cucumber, celery, apple, and ginger into 1-inch chunks.
  3. Place spinach and parsley into the blender first.
  4. Add chopped cucumber, celery, apple, and ginger on top of the greens.
  5. Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water; add more if needed to thin.
  6. Squeeze juice of one lemon over ingredients.
  7. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, scraping sides halfway through until smooth and vibrant green.
  8. Optional: Strain juice through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag for a smoother texture.
  9. Serve immediately over ice or chill for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, high-quality greens for best flavor. Straining is optional depending on preferred texture. Drink juice within 30 minutes for optimal nutrient retention. Store leftovers in a sealed glass container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Avoid microwaving juice to preserve nutrients.
