A quick and easy fall dessert dip featuring tangy cream cheese, Greek yogurt, caramel sauce, and crisp apples. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or cozy nights in, this creamy dip tastes just like caramel apple cheesecake without all the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, diced small (about 2 cups)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Apple slices, for dipping
  • Graham crackers, for dipping
  • Pretzels, for dipping
  • Vanilla wafers, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples. Dice into small cubes (about 1/4-inch), leaving the skin on. Toss with lemon juice in a small bowl to prevent browning. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes, until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold the diced apples into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula. If the mixture feels too thick, add 1-2 tbsp extra yogurt for a softer consistency.
  4. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture into your serving bowl. Drizzle half the caramel sauce over the top. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or sea salt if desired. Repeat with the remaining mixture and caramel, swirling gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the dip for 30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately if pressed for time.
  6. Arrange apple slices, graham crackers, pretzels, and vanilla wafers around the bowl for dipping. Garnish with extra diced apples, a drizzle of caramel, and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  7. Taste before serving and adjust with more vanilla or cinnamon if needed.

Notes

For gluten-free, use GF cookies or crackers for dipping. Dairy-free cream cheese and yogurt work well. Chill for best texture and flavor. Swirl, don’t stir, the caramel for a marbled look. Apples tossed in lemon juice stay crisp and vibrant. Can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 1 day. Storage: Keep leftovers tightly covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
