Crispy wonton shells paired with juicy, flavorful chicken filling make these bite-sized tacos the ultimate appetizer or snack. Perfect for parties, game-day gatherings, or casual weeknight treats.

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Chicken breast (boneless, skinless, diced)
  • Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
  • Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Garlic (minced, 1 clove)
  • Green onions (thinly sliced)
  • Coleslaw mix (pre-shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • Sweet chili sauce (for drizzling)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Press each wonton wrapper into a muffin tin cup, forming a taco shell shape. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove and let cool.
  3. While the shells bake, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
  4. Cook the diced chicken breast for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sweet chili sauce. Toss until the chicken is well-coated and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  6. In a mixing bowl, toss the coleslaw mix with a drizzle of sweet chili sauce for added flavor.
  7. Assemble the tacos by filling each crispy wonton shell with the chicken mixture. Top with coleslaw, green onions, and an extra drizzle of sweet chili sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the crunch!

Notes

If wonton wrappers puff up too much during baking, gently press them down with a spoon while warm. Prepare the chicken filling a day in advance for easier assembly.
