Instructions

  1. Prepare the Herb Mix: In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon each of dried oregano, dried basil, and parsley. Add ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes, ½ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir well.
  2. Mince the Garlic: Finely mince 2 garlic cloves or use a garlic press. Add the minced garlic to the herb mix.
  3. Combine with Olive Oil: Slowly pour ½ cup (120 ml) of extra virgin olive oil into the herb mixture. Stir gently to blend the flavors together.
  4. Optional Parmesan Kick: If desired, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese into the mixture for added richness. Stir again.
  5. Serve: Transfer the mixture to a shallow serving dish and pair with warm, crusty bread for dipping.
