- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 2 cups mini pretzel twists
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup roasted salted peanuts
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup red velvet cake mix (dry)
- 1 cup Monster M&Ms (or regular M&Ms)
- 2 tablespoons sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Set out all ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Rice Chex cereal, mini pretzel twists, mini marshmallows, and roasted salted peanuts. Gently toss to mix.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth (about 90 seconds total). If needed, add 1 teaspoon coconut oil to smooth.
- Quickly stir in the dry red velvet cake mix until fully combined with the melted chocolate.
- Pour the chocolate-cake mix mixture over the cereal blend. Use a spatula to gently toss and coat everything evenly.
- Spread the coated snack mix onto the lined baking sheet in an even layer. Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes, or refrigerate for 5 minutes, until set.
